Reply time
A few days, usually. Corrections with a link to the listing get answered first because they are the fastest to act on.
Worth writing about
- A listing that now states a runtime figure where this site records none, or the reverse. Include the link.
- A subscription model recorded under the wrong heading, with the listing wording that shows it.
- A badge whose stated basis no longer holds because another listing changed.
- A category of wearable this catalog does not cover and should.
What happens to a correction
A correction is checked against the current listing before anything moves. If the listing has changed, the entry changes with it, and so does anything computed from it: the stated range on the category page, the count of listings that state a figure, the arcs on the orbit, and the badge on the card if its basis no longer holds.
That last one is the reason every badge on this site prints its own reasoning underneath. A claim of only or longest is checked against the other listings in its category every time the site is built, so a listing that quietly starts stating a bigger number breaks the claim rather than hiding inside it.
What will not happen is a rewrite in the other direction. Nothing here gets softened because a manufacturer would prefer softer wording, and nothing gets sharpened because a competitor would prefer sharper. The entry says what the listing says.
Not worth writing about
Requests for advice on using an electrical stimulation unit, questions about what a wearable reading means for your health, and requests for prices. The first two go to a clinician and to the manufacturer’s instructions. The third is not something this site publishes, by design.
Requests to add a rating, a score or a verdict also go nowhere. This site sorts listings by what they state and how much of it they state. It does not hold an opinion about which product is better, because it has not measured any of them and says so on every page that carries a number.
